    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Terry was suspended for that 2012 triumph over Bayern Munich after being sent off in the semi-final against Barcelona. He was then mocked after appearing on the pitch in his full kit to receive his medal and lift the trophy.

  • WHAT MADDISON AND TERRY SAID

Maddison initially posted on his Instagram story: "To kit. Full John Terry mode. Anything to say tonight John?"

Terry replied: "I remember my first trophy. Ah bless them. Get the tequila out. Great season from you boys, you should all be proud!"
