    WHAT HOJLUND SAID

Hojlund said: "It was a vicious circle. We didn’t play that well as a team and it also affected me. But I’m not the type to lie down and give up. I don’t just sit down and say, "It's great that I haven’t scored in 21 games". I sit myself down and look at my game to see what I can do better. I think, "Why the hell is it that I can’t score? Where is it that it’s going wrong?"

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Manchester United are said to be keen on signing a new centre-forward this summer, with Liam Delap of Ipswich and Sporting's Viktor Gyokeres among the key targets. Whether that could spell the end of Hojlund's time at the club is not clear.
